Games Orgre Monthly Battle Rules

GameOgre.com holds battles aka polls to determine the best games on the Internet. Battles take place on a monthly and annual basis. Annual tournaments happen in the summer and extend of 3 months while monthly battles consist of just one poll to determine the Game of the Month.

Monthly Battle Rules:

1. The winner will have a sticky page in the forum for a month.
2. The winner will automatically be entered into the next annual Online Game Tournament.
3. Forum members can still vote only once but can now vote on multiple games.

MMORPG Showdown

Sister version of Online Game Battles. This takes place in GameOgre's Review Directory and determines our Best MMORPG of 2008 for our 2008 Online Game Awards feature that we will do in early 2009.

Annual Summer Tournament Rules:

1. Any online game is eligible whether free or not.
2. Winners will be determined by polls.
3. There will be at 3 phases with each phase lasting a month.
4. Winners will be determined for each category and then the winners will compete against each other.
5. The winner from each category will get a sticky profile in its respective forum.
6. The overall winner will be GameOgre.com Reader's Choice for Online Game of the Year and will be on GameOgre's 2008 Award article.
